Nielson School Provides Disaster Money
Hats off to the students at Neilson School. Eight classes had a competition to see which class could raise the
greatest amount of money for Red Cross disaster services. On May 30th Becky Kean and Kristie Rosner teachers at the
school brought in 8 milk jugs filled with pennies nickels, dimes and quarters. The class that had the greatest
weight of money won a doughnut party. The Students of Nielson School raised a total of $264.23. Great job kids.
This will be used to help local victims of disasters; it could be used for clothing, food, or for shelter, while
the victims begin the recovery process
