- Cover coughs and sneezes with a tissue
- Keep objects and fingers away from one’s mouth, nose and eyes
- Stay home when sick
- What a germ is, where it comes from and how it spreads
- When someone should wash their hands
Scrubby Bear teaches the six steps to hand washing
- Wet hands with warm water
- Use 1 squirt of liquid soap (Bar soaps can grow germs)
- Scrub 10 seconds
- Rinse well
- Dry hand with a paper towel and turn the faucet off with the towel
- Throw paper towel in trash
